'Eskimo' is a celebrated horticultural hybrid, a cross between two other garden Viburnums, created to capture the best qualities of its parents. The genus is famed for creating a stunning visual appearance with its beautiful, often fragrant, flower heads, which vary in form from flat lacecaps to the dense globes seen on this particular variety.
• The main spectacle for this Viburnum occurs in late spring, when tight, pink-flushed buds unfurl into magnificent, pure white, snowball-like flower heads. Each rounded cluster is comprised of many small, star-shaped flowers that together emit a wonderful, spicy fragrance.
