About us

What is Which.One?

Which. One is a data-driven comparison portal that helps visitors find suitable offers and products for online shopping more quickly. The information on our website is not editorially reviewed or manually evaluated, but processed automatically. Our listings are based on publicly accessible product data – for example price, availability, customer reviews or shipping options. The results are sorted algorithmically and displayed in a ranking.

🔍

Data collection

We continuously collect public product data from partner shops, affiliate networks and official databases.

⚙️

Automated processing

Our algorithms process the collected data fully automatically. Information is standardized and filtered according to quality criteria.

📊

Ranking creation

👥

Clear presentation

The results are presented clearly so you can quickly find the most suitable products.

Where do our information sources come from?

The displayed data comes from publicly accessible sources, such as partner shops, official databases and affiliate networks. It is updated regularly, but not editorially reviewed. It may happen that details such as price, availability or shipping conditions change in the meantime. The information on the respective shop’s page is always binding.

Which products are included?

Not all products that would be technically available are automatically included in our comparisons. The selection is made algorithmically according to data-based criteria such as timeliness, availability and relevance for the respective category. This is to ensure that the most relevant and currently available products are displayed.

How are our rankings created?

Our product rankings and price comparisons are based on algorithmic scoring systems. In price comparisons, the popularity of marketplaces can influence visibility. The order is not determined solely by price. For products within a product group, overall scores are calculated – from various factors such as visibility on platforms (e.g. Amazon), customer reviews (e.g. on Amazon), price structure, shipping costs, promotions or availability. The placement of a product in the ranking does not constitute an editorial recommendation or a test result. Three key evaluation areas are included:

  1. 40 % Content Relevance: Part of the evaluation is based on how well the product matches the respective search query. Among other things, product title, description and other product-specific features are taken into account.
  2. 40 % Economic Factors: Another part considers economic characteristics such as price, discounts, shipping costs and availability. Current deals or time-limited offers can also positively influence the ranking.
  3. 20% User Signals & Customer Reviews: The third pillar of the evaluation takes into account, among other things, customer reviews, average ratings and the number of existing reviews.
The weighting of individual factors may vary depending on the data situation. There is no manual selection or editorial review of products.

How we finance ourselves

Using Which. One is free of charge for you. We finance ourselves through so-called affiliate partnerships. This means: If you are redirected to a partner shop via our website, we may receive a commission. This does not incur any additional costs for you. Even when displaying shops within a price comparison, well-known or preferred providers are sometimes placed more prominently and thus preferentially. This sorting takes place considering both technical and user-oriented criteria.

Advertising content and placements

In addition to our data-based rankings, products or offers can be highlighted at the request of our partners. In such cases, there is clear labeling outside the regular ranking. These advertising placements have no influence on the algorithmically calculated comparison list.
