• COSMOS LADYBIRD MIX SEEDS: Strikingly vivid, mainly semi-double blooms over bushy plants with attractive foliage. Long flowering and ideal for summer borders.
• SOW: February to May, FLOWERS: June to October, HEIGHT: 30cm, PREFERS: Full Sun, SEEDS: 50 Approx.
• FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN – February to April. WHERE – In trays of seed compost. HOW - Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. CARE - Grow on at approx. 13-15°C. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 30cm apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed free. FLOWERS: June to October. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.
• FOR OUTDOOR SOWING: WHEN - April to May. WHERE – In a prepared seed bed in flowering position. HOW - Sow thinly in rows 30cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. CARE - When large enough thin to 30cm apart. Keep moist and weed free. FLOWERS: June to October. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.
