- Winter Storage Option: Mature roots can be stored in dry sand. Twist off leaves to prevent bleeding during harvest.
- Sow Outdoors Apr–Jul: Direct sow 2.5cm deep into well-prepared, fertile soil. Thin seedlings to 10cm apart. Allow 30cm between rows.
- Harvest Jul–Oct: Lift early for baby beets or allow to mature. Succession sow every 3 weeks for a continuous crop.
