• Characteristics: Hydrangea macrophylla Nikko Blue is a deciduous shrub that brings an elegant shade of coral blue through its flowers. These will bloom in Summer, with a shade of white seaping out from the centre, adding an abundance of eye-catching features to any pot, container, patio or plant display. Due to the plants deciduous nature, it will lose its leaves later in the year, before returning with fresh new foliage in Spring.
• Plant Advice: Hydrangea should be planted in moist, well-drained soil and kept in full sun. If kept in full sunlight, watering should be done so that the soil is never dry to touch. However, if placed in dappled shade, regular watering should only take place in the first few weeks as it establishes itself.
