Product description

  • Alyssum Saxatile: A perfect rockery variety producing an abundance of large flower heads with tiny yellow flowers. Thrives best in full sun. Perennial. SCIENTIFIC NAME: Alyssum saxatile.
  • Sow Indoors: February. Sow Outdoors: May – July. Spacing: 12" / 30cm. Flowering Height: 6" - 12"/15cm - 30cm. Flowers: April – June. SEEDS: 30 Approx.
  • Indoor Planting: Sow seeds thinly 0.5cm deep in trays of moist compost; be careful not to over-water. Store in a warm place at an approx. temperature of 15-20°C (60-70°F).
  • Growing On: When the seedlings are strong enough to handle they can be transplanted into bigger pots or troughs. Do not overcrowd the plants and keep in a warm, light position. Once all chance of frost has passed the plants can be transplanted direct into your desired location outside. Harden off first.
  • Outdoor Planting: Sow seeds 0.5cm deep in flowering location, thin to 9" [23cm] apart.
