• FICUS RUBBER PLANT - The Ficus Robusta, commonly known as the Rubber Plant or the Rubber Fig is a luscious evergreen foliage live indoor plant with glossy dark green elliptical leaves. When mature this trendy houseplant will grow anywhere from 30cm to 2.5 metres. NOTE: the decorative pot is not included, it will arrive in a 8cm plastic growing pot.
• AIR PURIFYING - This rainforest native rubber plant will add a tropical touch to any interior décor. It is perfect for displaying in the corner of a living room or kitchen but is also suited in an office environment. It also provides air purifying properties through its leaves, due its dense compact growing habit.
• BEGINNER FRIENDLY - Rubber Plants are one of the easiest houseplants to grow making it perfect for beginners and the Ficus Melany is no different. It is happiest in places with a temperature above 15°C and away from draughts.
• GROWING CONDITIONS - With most rainforest plants, the Ficus Robusta likes to grow in bright indirect sunlight in slightly moist soil conditions. It can cope well enough in slightly lower light but does not like complete shade. When watering, allow the top inch of soil to dry out then water thoroughly and drain through. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot and leaf drop.
