• More Flexible Parking: Add practical extra reach when the fixed Type 2 cable on your wallbox or EV charger cannot comfortably reach the vehicle. Ideal for driveways, garages, carports and difficult parking positions, reducing the need to reposition the car or relocate the wallbox.
• Purpose-Built for Tethered Chargers: Specially designed to extend an existing tethered Type 2 charger, wallbox or fixed-cable AC charging station.
• For chargers with a permanently attached Type 2 cable only. It is not compatible with socket-only wallboxes or untethered charging stations and is not a standard Type 2 to Type 2 charging cable.
• Engineered Connection and Conductors: The specialised coupling structure supports a secure mechanical connection with the existing Type 2 connector and helps reduce accidental loosening during normal use.
• Oxygen-free copper conductors, precision cold-crimped terminals and 8 μm silver-plated contacts support efficient current transfer. The EV-grade TPU outer sheath is designed for flexibility, bending resistance and outdoor charging conditions.
• For Type 2 EVs and PHEVs: Suitable for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids with a Type 2 or CCS2 vehicle inlet for AC charging when used with a compatible tethered Type 2 charger. Available in 7.4 kW single-phase, 11 kW three-phase and 22 kW three-phase variants to suit different charging systems.
• Select and Use the Correct Variant: Before purchase, check the rating printed on the original tethered charger cable and choose an extension cable with the appropriate current and phase configuration.
• Fully uncoil the cable during charging and use it only within the rated electrical limits of the selected variant.
