• Characteristics: Fast growing high bamboo ideal for screening or as an interesting hedge. Provides an attractive sight and sound barrier and reaches full height in around 5 years.
• Growth and Spread: Ultimate height of 4-5m and spread of 1.5m at full maturity
• Care and Maintenance: Before planting, be sure to add some well-rooted manure or garden compost to allow the plant to have the best possible start in your garden. Water regularly and make sure that if planted in containers or borders, the plants do not dry out - even during the winter period - as their light foliage is prone to wind scorch. Remove damaged and dead stems to show off the attractive canes and encourage fresh growth.
