- Ornamental Rice ‘Black Madras’ is an exceptionally decorative annual plant that is recommended to be grown along with ornamental grasses, or to flank ponds or decorate fences. This variety grows up to 40 centimetres in height and produces very dark foliage. Magnificent as it looks, Ornamental Rice ‘Black Madras’ is comparatively straightforward to grow.
- Looks amazing in the pots, containers , on the patio/terrace or in beds
- cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil. Grow the plants in sunny positions at a temperature of around 20-25oC. This variety flowers from May to October. The plants can be grown in the soil or in containers.
- Grows very quickly and reaches full size in 3 months. Likes full sun and watering. It is one of the most ornamental 'grass' you can grow
