Product description

  • SAVE THE BEES Spring & autumn are the best time to scatter seed balls for wildflowers next summer. During winter, the cold helps support strong growth, maximising the chances of a beautiful and buzzing wildflower display next year. Our seed balls are super simple to use, there s no need for gardening expertise or even a shovel! Simply throw your seed bombs onto the soil, compost, garden bed or planter and ensure to leave at least 10cm between each ball.
  • WILDFLOWER SEEDS FOR SHADE Our British native wildflower seed mix is ideal for the shadier areas of your garden and balcony. While these will struggle in total shade - as would all flowers - this mix is designed for spots which receive only dappled sun or sun for just one part of the day, although these will grow equally well in areas of full sun.
  • GARDEN FLOWER SEEDS Each ball contains approximately 30 seeds from a mixture of Bellflower, Forget-me-not, Meadow buttercup, Meadowsweet, Oxeye daisy, Ragged robin and Red campion. This gorgeous assortment of wildflowers will grow anywhere between 5-90cm in height and provides a colourful haven for bugs, bees and birds.
  • ABOUT US Seedball is a non-profit company on a massive mission to help increase the abundance of British wildflowers and wildlife that depend upon them. We believe that if we can all better use whatever space we have available to us we can together have a hugely beneficial impact on our local ecosystems.
  • HOW TO USE Simply throw your seed bombs onto the soil, compost, garden bed or planter during the Spring or Autumn months and ensure to leave at least 10cm between each ball. Your Seedball has everything it needs to grow and, once the ball becomes moist and the temperature is right, your seeds will germinate into a bed of beautiful wildlife-friendly flowers!
