• The alpha shape fits naturally in the hand and combined with its large opening for opening the carabiner very easy to attach. Grooves on the rear bar increase grip for safe handling.
• Solid gates are robust and give positive handling. Grooves in the gate give extra grip, increase control when making tricky clips. Solid gates are also better able to cope with the wear and tear of modern sport climbing.
• These gates are shaped so that the rope is guided into the carabiner when clamping. Grooves in the gate improve handling, for more control when making tricky clips.
• This carabiner is inserted into a groove in the gate so that it reaches full power without a gate notch. This creates a clean inner profile that won't catch on gears, screws or loops, allowing easier cutting and stripping of routes.
