- DOOR KNOB LOCK - The Defender Security door knob latch can be placed directly above the door knob to prevent access to the keyhole. Note measure the backset of your door, cross bore and thickness to ensure you find the right fit.
- Covers Keyhole - This door knob security device is not designed to prevent the turning of an unlocked knob, but to block access to the locked keyhole, effectively keeping other key holders away.
- REMOVABLE - The durable die-cast cylinder is held in place with an O-ring and is removable when the unit is unlocked and opened. The cylinder cannot be removed when the device is closed and locked.
- DIMENSIONS - This locking device can protect round door knobs that have a maximum diameter of 2.9 inches. Note that the shaft cutout is oval oblong and measures 3.5 cm. x 1 1 2 " so it fits loosely over door knobs with round, slim shanks.
- APPLICATIONS - This lockout device is widely used in evictions, rentals, home sales, construction sites, home, office and more. It can be used in any situation where you want to prevent others with keys from unlocking the door knob. This knob lock is used to prevent access to a standard door knob.
