• The strings are thicker and shinier (more like silk) than normal, providing a superior drape of these curtains.
• The string density of the Homescapes polyester curtain is much higher. Since the strings are thicker
• each curtain has an equivalent of 1150 strings, others are normally has about 700 strings. Or about 35 strings per cm against a normal of 18 to 20 string an inch. As a result, the protection against flies is more effective and the appearance of these Homescapes string curtains is much better than the normal ones.
• These curtains are hand woven by Homescapes on traditional hand looms in India. You can see that in the beautiful header of these curtains (where the curtain rod goes). Such a woven header lasts longer and looks much better than a stitched on mass produced string curtains.
