- Important Notes For the doorbell repeater to work correctly, please note This product is not suitable if 1. your Blink doorbell is already connected to another doorbell system, or 2. Blink utilises an external power supply rather than battery power. Please activate the app following the steps in the video tutorial on the page to avoid connection issues. For Generation 2, it will not fit perfectly on the top, but all functions will remain fully operational. During installation, you can attach the extender to the wall above or below the video doorbell.
