- Do not remove the cooking pot when it is filled with hot water
- Plug the power plug into the wall socket. Switch on. The red lamp will light up
- When rice is done, the switch will turn off automatically. The red lamp will go out and the yellow lamp will come on, this is the keep warm function, keep the lid on for more 10 minutes to allow the rice to cook thoroughly
- Pull the power plug out of the wall socket once cooking has finished. Otherwise the cooker will keep warm the rice automatically, the yellow lamp will keep lighting on
