  • WATERING & HUMIDITY - When watering, allow the top inch of soil to dry out then water thoroughly. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot. This houseplant prefers to grow in average to warm household conditions around 18 to 28 C, avoiding cold draughts. Misting occasionally will benefit the plant greatly.
  • SUNLIGHT - This orange Philodendron likes lots of bright indirect sunlight to help produce new growth and allow its stunning orange tones to form. If the leaves start to show signs of going all green, this plant needs to be moved to a brighter location. The Prince of Orange is slightly different to other Philodendrons in that it doesn t have a trailing habit like some of its relatives. It can grow to a height of 30 60 cm with a spread of a similar size.
  • REPOTTING - Repotting of this Philodendron should occur once it has outgrown its current growing pot, approximately once every 1 to 2 years. Repotting a Prince of Orange can occur at any time of year but during Spring and Summer are best as the plant is actively growing. When repotting, you should wait until your plant is ready to be watered as you will need to water it thoroughly to hold it in place in its new pot.
