- UNIQUE LEAVES FOR NATURAL BEAUTY Vallisneria Spiralis Rubra is characterized by thin leaves that vary in shades of green, red and brown. The leaves are actually straight. It is named after the stalk of the female flower that twist after flowering.
- EASY TO MAINTAIN This plant is ideal for beginners and experienced aquarists alike, requiring minimal care without the need for CO2 injection. It adapts about a month to new water conditions and then starts to grow and spread.
- OPTIMAL GROWING CONDITIONS Vallisneria Spiralis Rubra thrives in moderate to bright lighting, with a preferred pH range of 6.5 to 7.5. It adapts well to a variety of water conditions and temperatures between 20-28 C, making it versatile for most aquarium setups.
- UNDERSTANDING "VALLISNERIA MELT" AND ITS CAUSES Vallisneria melting is a common reaction to sudden changes in water conditions, such as fluctuations in temperature, pH, hardness, or nutrient levels. To prevent this, maintain stable water parameters and avoid abrupt adjustments. If melting occurs, simply prune the affected leaves to encourage healthy new growth. This natural process usually resolves within a month, and the plant will recover with vibrant, fresh foliage.
