- GNITION-ACTIVATED VS. CONSTANT POWER For most applications, this adapter powers your dash cam or other USB-powered device when your vehicle's ignition is ON. However, for vehicles using the Keyway 2 harness (as well as the Toyota Supra and some BMWs using the Keyway 1 harness) constant power is the only option (the adapter will provide constant power to your vehicle, meaning it will provide power whether your vehicle is on or off).
- OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE This dash cam adapter is recommended for USB-powered devices drawing less than 2A at 5V to ensure efficient heat management. If you're using a USB-C powered device, please ensure compatibility by checking the voltage specifications beforehand.
- POWER ON PIN 1, GROUND ON PIN 3. Please verify keying before purchasing.
