- Douk Audio K5 USB DAC & Headphone Amp Featuring USB and SPDIF optical inputs, as well as optical, RCA and 6.35 3.5mm jack outputs, the K5 serves as a high-performance headphone amplifier, a USB DAC, a preamp, but also a USB to optical converter to transmit the high-quality audio from the computer to those audio devices only with SPDIF digital input such as CD players, amplifiers and active speakers etc.
- Tone Control with Bypass and Gain Switch Treble and bass with midpoint positioning for perfect balance, the K5 also features a bypass function to remove all tone controls, allowing you to enjoy the purest sound by toggling the switch to PURE. The USB Type-C input can power the K5 directly with sufficient current, it also has an external power port and includes a 2-in-1 USB cable (Type-C and USB-A) for broader compatibility and optimal performance.
- Strong Power and High Low Gain Modes K5 supports dual 6.35 3.5mm headphone outputs and provides robust power of 560mW 470mW@32 per channel to effortlessly unleash the best performance of your headphones. Specially designed with high and low gain modes, flexibly adapt to all headphones of a wide impedance range from 16 to 600 and tailor your own listening experience.
- Warm Tips 1. The K5 USB DAC is not compatible with Win7 system. 2. The USB input (type-C) can transmit audio signals and provide power to the K5. If the current is above 2A, there is no need to use the external DC power interface. If less than 2A, please use the supplied high-quality DC5V 2A power adapter to ensure the performance of the K5. 3. The volume and tone knobs only control the analog audio outputs (RCA 6.35 3.5mm jacks), invalid for the optical output.
- 4. The optical output is only valid when using the USB input. While the analog outputs of RCA, 6.35 and 3.5mm jacks will work no matter using the USB or Optical input. 5. For DSD playback, no USB driver is required if the computer is running MAC OS, linux or Android systems. While for Windows 10 11 system (Not support Win7), please contact us for the USB driver or download directty from the user manual.
