- FIRE & SMOKE SAFETY Our fire door seal strip expands when exposed to heat, creating a barrier that helps stop fire and smoke from spreading; This surface-mounted intumescent strip which is suitable for gaps between 2 and 4mm should only be fitted to timber door leaves and framing material that has been successfully tested for a period of 30 minutes in accordance with the criteria of BS 476 Part 22 1987
- EASY TO INSTALL Installing this self-adhesive fire safety door strip is quick and simple; Clean the surface using the provided alcohol wipe, stick the brush against the door stop, and trim it around the latch plate and corners for a perfect fit; Let the adhesive lay flat overnight for best results and finish by applying the fire door stickers; The strip is tested against single door leaves, so it is not suitable for double door sets

- CAUTION Since the intumescent fire retardant door seal comes rolled up, applying it right away can cause the adhesive to weaken after a while; Allow the strip to lay flat for a while before using it and check the adhesive regularly after applying to make sure it s holding properly
