- How to Install and Use 1. Make sure the sliding bolt's end of the garage lock near your door's edge. If it's not your current direction, please change its direction by package included user manual. It will be about 2 minutes to install the manual side mount deadlock well. 2. Fix the garage lock on the door back tightly with 4pcs provided self-tapping screws and your own cross screwdriver. 3. Release or hold the sliding bolt's handle of the side lock, you can easily install and close or open the door from left side or right side after installing our sliding gate latch.
