Their absorption rate relies on two key factors.First, wax temperature optimal at 55-65 C (10-15min absorption). Below 50 C, wax thickens (20-30min absorption, higher separation risk); over 70 C, oils evaporate.Second, additives small-molecule oils (e.g., citrus) and liquid pigments absorb faster than large-molecule oils (e.g., woody) and solid pigments (need pre-dissolving in base wax).
