• An oak cask aged brandy - The Godet Jules Domet XO Brandy is aged in oak casks, following traditional methods. These casks are located in ocean cellars, where they age for 4-9 years. This gives our range of French cognac and French brandy an exceptional expression of wood notes, while the long ageing process secures a distinctive natural sweetness.
• Premium XO brandy from the House of Godet - The House of Godet was founded in La Rochelle in the 16th Century, and was awarded the seal of approval by King Henry IV. Then in 1699, Jean Godet was ennobled and given a coat of arms with three goblets and a star. Today, the House is renowned as the forefather of French premium brandy and cognac. As a result, this same coat of arms is still affixed to all of our Godet French brandy bottles.
