- SCENTED GERANIUM - The Pink Capitatum pelargonium has lovely rose scented grey, green leaves and is used as an insect repellent against flying pests. During the Summer and Autumn, it produces large pretty pink flowers, making it an attractive houseplant for a kitchen or conservatory window ledge.
- GROWING OUTDOORS - This plant can be grown outdoors in a patio pot but it is important to only place it outside when the risk of frost has passed. If wishing to grow outdoors, planting in patio pots allows it to be moved into a shed or greenhouse during the Winter months.
- CARE - Pink Capitatum geraniums grow best in moderately fertile, moist but well-draining soil in full sunlight. To encourage a second flush of flowers, remove any spent heads as they fade. Scented geraniums like to be kept well fed, using a dilute solution of a high-potash liquid fertiliser such as tomato feed at regular intervals.
