- EASY TO USE Press the pilot drill into the material until the hole saw finds the surface. As soon as the saw begins to cut, move it carefully and do not force into the material. Stop the drill after the saw has gone through the other side of the material. When cutting harder materials, use the drill at a slower speed. Cutting oil will increase longevity when cutting metal
