- Easy to Use Machine taps are used in drill presses, tapping, CNC and milling machines. Use with appropriate lubricant (such as cutting fluid or oil) to get higher quality threads and more durable tap & drill bit. Not recommended for hand use and electric drill tapping.
- Features Black oxide coating on drill bits improves durability, corrosion resistance and lubricity, and helps reduce friction and heat, extending tool life. Twist drill bit has sharp cutting edges and large spiral grooves, which provide neat and smooth cuts and facilitate the export of metal chips.
- Tips Drill holes with a twist drill bit first, then tap with a thread tap. Tapping and drilling angle should be 90 degrees vertical and stable. The higher the hardness, the slower the speed. The tapping depth should not exceed 1.5 times the diameter of the tap (for example, the diameter M5x0.8 is about 5mm, and the depth should not exceed 7.5mm.)
