Product description
- PANEL CONSTRUCTION Each panel comprises a sturdy 9mm thick flame-retardant PET felt base with 15 real wood veneer slats. The slats are 27mm wide x 12mm depth x 600 1200 2400mm long (depending upon panel size). Individual slats are spaced 13mm apart. The slats are constructed from flame-retardant solid black MDF (ie. not stained on the outside but black throughout) and faced with real wood veneer. The protective finish is UV-cured to create a long-lasting natural satin finish.
- RESPONSIBLE AND SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS The 9mm thick base felt is produced using recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate), a common constituent used in fibres for clothing and containers for liquids and foods. The wood veneers used are sourced from suppliers operating sustainable forestry management practices.
- ACOUSTIC THERMAL PROPERTIES When applied, the panels can not only offer an increased level of thermal insulation, but also exhibit sound-dampening qualities that can reduce sound reverberation within the room in which they are used and reduce sound being transmitted to other rooms. Class A sound absorption our panels have been certified to achieve a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.85, which means they absorb 85% of all sound in an environment.
