  • Easy to use To use a radiator bleed key, follow these steps Turn on your heating and wait for it to warm up. Check each radiator for cold spots. If a radiator is cold at the top, then it needs bleeding.
  • To Bleed Turn off your heating and allow the radiators to cool. Locate the bleed valve at the top of the radiator. Place a container or towel below the bleed valve. Insert the bleed key into the bleed valve and turn it anti-clockwise about a quarter of a turn, or until you hear a hissing noise (that s the air coming out). You might also get a few drops of water, so have a cloth to hand! Wait until all the air has escaped. Once the sound stops and water starts streaming out, make sure you catch the water in the container. Now it s time to re-tighten the valve. Clean up any excess and move on to the next one!
  • These keys are made of solid brass, with butterfly thumb turns, so long lasting and will handle the most stubborn valve.
  • These radiator valve keys will suit most conventional radiator valves, saving you time. This universal radiator key is compatible with both older and more modern radiators.
