• WHICH BATTERIES FOR GOGO ELITE SCOOTER - The Pride Go-Go Elite range of mobility scooters can come with either a standard 12ah box or a 17ah Box, this will depend on what was fitted when they were purchased from new and is not model specific, so you must know which box you have and not what model when purchasing new batteries for them.
• Now of course the best way of finding out which ones you have is to open the box and look, but there is a way of cheating and saving a bit of time, the smaller 12ah box generally has a height of less than of 5-inches or 125mm not including the handle, and the larger 18ah box will be taller than 6.5-inches or 165mm. Of course you must use your own discretion with this, it is only a hint.
• Once you have worked out which box you have you then have a couple of upgrade options that will allow more miles per charge, we have a 14ah to replace the 12ah in the smaller box, and a 22ah to upgrade from the 17 18ah in the larger box, all selectable above
• AGM batteries are the most common type to be used for mobility scooters, they use a GEL-based electrolyte that is held within absorbent glass mats, and the reaction between these items cause s voltage to be produced then stored and gives the required energy to power your scooter.
• You will receive two 12v batteries that combine to create 24V which is what the GOGO mobility scooter box will require in the Box, for the 14ah version each battery is (L)151mm x (W)98mm x (H)95mm designed to fit snug in your case
