- Added convenience while jacking.
- 1 4" steel plate with rim to aid in centering the post, prevent the post from slipping off the jack, and to minimize any post base damage via load distribution. 3-5 8 square opening to fit the typical 4"x4" (nominal) post.
- Adapter and screws only. Bottle jack nor the post is included.
- NOTE Some older, swollen, or various other 4x4 lumber may be larger than 3-1 2 . It s likely that 99% of the posts from a home improvement and lumber yards will fit. If yours does not fit, you have a choice of carefully chiseling trimming the bottom 3 4 of the post or finding a normal post to use.
