- The steel chain sold by the metre is often used as a rain chain, as a metal chain for hanging various things, such as swings and lamps (tip electric. cables can easily be guided through the long chain links). The chain can also be used as a rain chain drain chain or for a hanging basket in the garden. In combination with a padlock, it is also ideal for locking a bicycle, scooter or motorcycle.
- With an iron chain, not only long distances, e.g. as a barrier chain, metal can be overcome, but also for securing parts or static hanging of various loads. Due to the industrial quality, a high breaking load of 630 kg with a wire diameter of 4 mm is achieved. However, the steel chain is not suitable as a load bearing device in the sense of DIN 15003 for cranes lifting tools.
- The round steel chain is made of TIG welded chain links. This ensures extremely high stability, as well as reliable resistance to environmental influences. The stainless steel chains are made of high-alloy stainless steel A4 (1.4401) and are resistant to most acids, sea water and salt water.
