- This substrate does not need to be washed before use, and can simply be placed straight into the aquarium. It will not cloud the water and the soil will maintain its shape for a long time. It does not require to be topped with gravel or another substrate.
- This substrate will stabilise pH levels to 6.5, so is ideal for fish that prefer slightly acidic water. The soil will also stabilise the KH level and reduce NH3 and NH4.
