- The hand gouge #5 blade profile is used to carve the blank into rough form and to work on large areas. The rounded chisel is also good to level or flatten concave areas.
- The main peculiarity of the woodworking rounded chisel is professionally hardened, sharpened and polished blade, so it goes through cuts easy. Good for soft and hard wood. The wood carving tool needn t be sharpened, it's ready to use right out of the box.
- BLADE MATERIAL of the woodworking gouge - chromium contained carbon steel W 108. The steel is hardened to 60-62 Hrc, the blade is razor sharpened, so be careful during woodcarving. Hardened high carbon, chromium containing low alloy steel has perfectly balanced properties for producing wood carving and cutting tools. It's a high strength, wear resistant steel, which keeps sharpening for a long time of use.
- DIMENSIONS Blade cutting part width - 0.4" (10 mm). Metal thickness - 0.08" (2 mm). Blade length - 3.93" (10 cm). Handle length - 4.72" (12 cm). Weight 0.15 lbs (70 g).
