- The UK standard 35 watts Adjustable Power Output heat belt is a heating device designed to provide gentle warmth without creating hot spots. It is ideal for aiding fermentation with one or two demijohns or any make of 5 Gallon 25 Litre vessel, and is suitable for beer, spirits, and wine making.
- One of the main advantages of using the Adjustable Power Output heat belt over a heating pad is that it can be easily moved up or down the fermenter to increase or decrease the heat transfer to the brew. This allows you to maintain the perfect temperature for your fermentation. Additionally, the temperature can be easily adjusted using the knob provided, ensuring precise temperature control.
- To use the heat belt, simply tighten it around the brewing barrel fermenter and adjust the position to achieve the desired temperature. It's important to regularly check the temperature sticker provided to ensure that the temperature is correct for the fermentation.
- As a bonus, the heat belt comes with a stick-on thermometer to help you monitor the temperature of your brew more accurately. Please note that the maximum power of the heat belt is 35 watts, and it is only intended for use in cold weather to maintain a desirable temperature for your fermentation.
