- MultiScrew M10 - 10mm Coach Screws - DIN 571. Corrosion Resistant A2-70 Stainless Steel. Stainless steel coach screws, also commonly known as lag screws or lag bolts, are heavy duty woodscrews commonly used in construction and landscaping application. All of the screws in this section are stainless steel meaning that can be used outside and in areas where the fixings will come into contact with moisture.
- Coach screws are a traditional heavy duty woodscrew mainly used for timber to timber applications, attaching ironmongery to timber or for use with a nylon plug into masonry. Also known as spaced threads, they are normally used for all timber applications. Deep single thread provides a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance
- These single thread coach screws are stainless steel grade 304 (A2) for increased corrosion resistance and conform to DIN571 standards.
- Length Excludes Head - Head takes 17mm Socket. Insertion may be made using a wrench, spanner or powertool. Select your coach screw size and pack quantity from the menu above.
- M10 Coach Screws have a 10mm Diameter Shank. Not Suitable For Replacing High Tensile Fasteners. Applications Timber to timber applications, metal to timber applications, concrete to timber applications, heavy-duty masonry applications (with nylon plug), fencing, landscaping, roofing & construction.
- Stainless steel does not readily corrode, rust or stain with water as ordinary steel does. However, it is not fully stain-proof in low-oxygen, high salinity, or poor air-circulation environments. There are different grades and surface finishes of stainless steel to suit the environment the alloy must endure. Stainless steel is used where both the properties or steel and corrosion resistance are required.
