- Upslope Downslope Time 0 - 15s, to improve the welding quality at start and end. Pre-Flow Post Flow Time 0 - 15s, to protect the tungsten electrode against excessive wear and protect the weld from oxidation. Pulse Frequency (AC DC) 0.2 - 20Hz. AC frequency 20 - 200Hz. Pulse duty ratio (width) 10% - 90%. AC balance -40 to +40.
