Product description

  • CARE & STORING If storing the seeds, simply make sure that they are kept in a dry, cool and dark location. Placing them in a ziplock bag and pressing out all of the air is a good idea if they are taken out of their original packaging.
  • SOWING. You should be good by planting 6 8 weeks before the last frosty day of the year. Sow the seeds 0,6 cm deep in good soil. Keep containers warmly, at around 21 C until germination occurs, and then move them into full sun near a south-facing window. When the frosty weather has passed, and the plants are about 15 cm tall, transplant them into a sunny spot in the garden. Cherry tomatoes can grow big and bushy, so be sure you leave at least 60 90 cm between planting holes.
  • HARVEST. Usually, it takes about 4 5 months after sowing for the tomatoes to become ready for harvest. Before the harvest period, you ll see flowers being followed by tiny green fruits. After a few weeks, those turn into full-blown cherry tomatoes that are ready to pick and eat. A truly ripe cherry tomato will come off its stem very easily and is well worth waiting an extra day for, so hold off on picking them until they re ripe.
  • GET CREATIVE IN THE KITCHEN. Cherry tomatoes are delicious in practically any dish you can name. Use them as a side, mix into salads, or make a sauce by chopping them thinly and heating in a saucepan.
