• CRANK HANDLE TO EASILY OPEN & CLOSE Forget about fiddling around with a rope pulley system because the parasol has a crank handle to easily raise and lower its canopy. Simply wind the handle one way to open the canopy and the other way to close it. The handle is made from steel and is powder-coated for rust-resistance and a premium look and feel.
• UV-PROTECTIVE POLYESTER CANOPY The canopy is made from 180g polyester which doesn t easily stretch or tear like natural fibres. It has a UV30+ rating to protect you from harmful ultraviolet rays and provides enough shade for 2-3 people. An air vent at the top helps to aid air flow, keep you cool, and protect the parasol from being pulled upwards by the wind.
• STURDY STEEL POLE WITH 38MM DIAMETER The pole and ribs are made from steel which is heavier than aluminium for greater strength, stability, and wind-resistance. The pole has a 38mm diameter and comes in two parts which lock together to easily assemble and disassemble. Like the handle, the pole and ribs are powder-coated to protect them from rust.
• IMPORTANT PRODUCT INFORMATION A parasol base is NOT INCLUDED with the parasol and is essential for keeping it weighed down and stable in windy weather. The parasol is compatible with any base that has a 38mm diameter holding tube. However, we recommend using a half parasol base, as it will allow you to push it flat against a fence or wall.
