- We want to make sure you are ordering the right size bar for your door. Example If you have a 32" wide door, you will need a 34" long bar. The bar has to overlap the hinge brackets by one inch on either side. If you can fit a credit card in between the door and the jamb (not including the raised letters) our brackets will fit properly between the door and the jamb. We write the size of the bar on the box to confirm proper size in box.
