- Egeria Densa dense water weed common name pond weed, this is one of the best growers and there is no issue with cultivation. Home is southeast Brazil and Argentina. The dense variety displays extremely thick compact leaf growth along the stem, excellent oxygenator and is currently used within education for photosynthesis experiments. You are buying 5 stems of Elodea Densa in synthetic led weights, which will not have roots. These plants are stem plants which do not have roots.
- Stem plants are on average around 8 inches in length. This is the most common form of aquatic plant, and once planted in the aquarium or pond will soon grow roots and new leaves assuming correct care and attention is provided.
