- Product Usage Use with IP security camera, wireless access point and other devices. Transforms Non PoE devices to PoE enabled. Note Since only 4 of the 8 pins of the RJ45 plug are wired, it is only suitable for IP cameras and not for WLAN cameras.
- Voltage Passive PoE - means that input and output voltage are equal. Rated Voltage 12Vdc, Rated Current 1.5Amps(the best will be 1.0A or so for long term use); Transmission distance DC12V 15V 10 meters.
- Application This kit allows power to be carried on 10 100 networks over the spare, unused pairs of a CAT5, CAT5E, CAT6 or CAT7 Ethernet network cable. On shorter network lengths, The power source could feed the wireless access point, IP video surveillance camera,Ip phone etc. The splitter are widely used for WLAN, routers, switches, internet telephony, security monitoring, etc.
- Please Note Best Solution for Up to 15M Long Distance Power Transmission Between Non-PoE Switch and Non-PoE Devices. (depending on the quality of the cable and the power draw of the device). If there is a voltage drop, it is due to the wiring being too far away. the wiring distance for DC12V or DC15V is 10M or less.
