- Beautiful little blue flowers that look like tiny bunches of grapes appear in the spring together with tulips above the grass-like leaves.. look gorgeous peeping out of a large container. Quickly forming small colonies, they're also valuable for naturalising at the front of a sunny mixed or shrub border. They look perfect when planted with some tulips or crocus or when left to naturalise as a ground cover plant.
- Height 20cm
- Plant in autumn between August and December for flowers in the spring Plant 10cm deep in fertile, well drained soil and try to ensure that they will have plenty of access to some sun. Muscari are fully hardy to frost and are an extremely low maintenance option for spring displays. They can be planted in borders, rockeries or are very effective when left to naturalise multiply. If you wish to move clumps, then this can be done in summer when dormant.
