- Yasugi Steel Yasugi Steel is a distinct type of steel exclusively manufactured in Japan. Produced at the Hitachi Metals facility in Shimane, this steel is formed by blending iron and steel, eliminating impurities such as phosphorus and sulfur that can diminish sharpness. It is then subjected to multiple rounds of forging and rolling through a hot processing technique. The defining traits of Yasugi Steel tools include exceptional strength, resistance to wear, and long-lasting sharpness, making them highly durable tools.
