- BLACKBERRY THORNLESS PLANT - The Rubus Thornless Blackberry plant is a low maintenance upright growing pollinator friendly, fruit shrub ideal for planting in UK gardens. This garden ready plant produces an abundance of large tasty glossy black berries every August, on stems that are thorn free, making it children friendly and safer to pick from. The sweet fruit can be used to make jams and desserts or eaten straight from the plant.
- HARDY PLANT - This fruiting shrub is extremely hardy and can survive in colder climates and still bear fruit. It is ideal for growing in patio pots or in beds and borders in kitchen gardens, cottage gardens and woodland gardens. It can grow to a height of 150cm with a spread of a similar size.
- SUNLIGHT - This thornless blackberry plant will happily grow in full sunlight to partial shade in any moist draining soil. This fruiting shrub will grow in a variety of soil conditions but very chalky soil will need to be bulked up with well rotted organic matter.
- WATERING - When watering this fruit plant it is important to water well until it is established and especially during the hotter months of Summer. During the Autumn cut away fruited stems and tie in new stems in preparation for the next year s crop.
