- Security If installed with both pins up then the gate can be removed easily in the open position. To prevent unwanted removal of the gate, mount the top or bottom pin upside down depending on the weight distribution of the gate.
- Recommended Size The general rule is that the hinge length should be half of the gate width. For example, a 1000mm wide gate will need a 500mm hinge. Recommendation for gates over 2100mm a third hinge should be added.
- Easy to Install It is extremely easy to install these hinges it only requires basic tools. All the necessary fixings are supplied with the hinges.
