- REPLACEMENT EAR SPEAKER - This replacement flex cable comes with a brand new ear speaker unit already soldered into place. If the sound coming from your ear speaker is distorted or there is no sound at all, replacing this flex will repair that issue.
- REPLACEMENT PROXIMITY SENSOR - Along with the ear speaker there is a brand new proximity sensor located on this flex cable. This sensor is responsible for closing the screen when you hold your phone to your ear. If this sensor is broken, replacing this flex cable will fix that issue.
- REPLACEMENT AMBIENT LIGHT SENSOR - Also located on the flex cable is a brand new ambient light sensor, this sensor is responsible for regulating screen brightness depending on outside lighting conditions
- !!! IMPORTANT !!! - Replacing this flex cable will stop your Face ID from working. This is because the flex cable is tethered to your motherboard and only the factory original cable can be paired with the board. If you replace your original flex cable, the Face ID will stop working. Please understand this before you buy.
