- As they are not very popular in the supermarkets, growing these tomatoes at home is a great choice. Ideal for greenhouse growing, as well as outdoor crops
- In the packet you will get 100 seeds, with sow by date November 2025. Depending on growing conditions, seeds should germinate in 7-14 days
- When grown as a cordon type the plant will produce big beefsteak fruits of purplish red colour. If not pruned often it will produce much smaller fruits, the size of a cricket ball
- When fully mature the fruits are heart-shaped, with creamy sweet flesh and hardly any seeds. They should be tied to a trellis, staked, or caged, as the fruits can get very heavy
- Due to their dense, meaty flesh and low moisture content, in cooking they will be a perfect ingredient in making ketchup, sauces, purees, pastes and soups
