Clamp the red clip of the power circuit probe tester to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery. Clamp the black clip to the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery. After a simple hook-up of the circuit tracer to the vehicle's battery, automotive technician can conduct a positive or negative battery current to the tip by rocking the power switch forward or backward.
- Overload Protection Before you test a circuit or component, the test light can perform a quick self-test to ensure your tool is in good condition. Equipped with overload protection, when the current exceeds 7A, the circuit tester will disconnect the current automatically and give you a buzzer prompt. You can test poor ground contacts directly. Note Do not use on AC voltage.
