  • Distinctive Features Moscato Spumante Ros is a ros wine , characterized by the aromas of rose, raspberry and cranberries and given by a short maceration on the skins of the Brachetto grapes . A sparkling wine with an intense aroma, perfectly balanced between acidity and sweetness.
  • Vinification The harvested grapes are de-stemmed and subjected to a soft pressing process. The must obtained is cooled to 0 C and stored in cold rooms for up to one month before the second (sparkling) fermentation. The wine reaches 7.5% alcohol by volume after a slow fermentation in an autoclave before bottling . In recent years Moscato d'Asti has reached excellent quality levels thanks to the use of cold processing techniques, which have allowed all the aromatic characteristics of the wine to be kept intact.
  • Grape Type The cultivation of Moscato d'Asti in Piedmont dates back to the 1300s, although its origins can be traced back to the landing of the Greek colonists on the coasts of the Italian peninsula. The varietal genetics involves a high sugar content, which means that at the time of the late summer harvest, the grapes already present a formidable sweetness.
